Aluminium TIG Welder

We are seeking a skilled Aluminium TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for precision welding of aluminium components, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires a strong understanding of TIG welding techniques, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work accurately within fabrication processes. Duties

• Perform TIG welding on aluminium parts and assemblies according to technical specifications and drawings
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components with precision and attention to detail
• Operate various fabrication machinery and tools to assist in assembly processes
• Conduct quality checks on welds and finished products to ensure compliance with standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow

Requirements

• Proven experience in TIG welding, specifically aluminium welding
• Familiarity with welding standards and techniques
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
• Experience in working with sheet metal and assembly tasks is desirable
• Strong attention to detail, organisation skills, and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment following health and safety protocols
