As the Annual Review Admin Officer, you will play a vital role in coordinating the Annual Review process for pupils with SEND, acting as the key point of contact between schools, parents and multi‑agency professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, confident with detailed information and passionate about supporting positive outcomes for children and young people.
This Portsmouth‑based school is seeking a reliable and proactive administrator to join their SEND team on a full‑time, term‑time only plus one week basis.
Key Responsibilities
Annual Review Administration
- Coordinate Annual Review meetings, including scheduling, invitations and documentation
- Gather reports from teachers, parents and external professionals
- Collate, format and submit paperwork within statutory deadlines
- Maintain accurate, compliant records for all pupils with EHCPs
Communication & Liaison
- Act as the main point of contact for parents, carers and professionals
- Provide clear, supportive communication throughout the review process
- Work closely with SENCOs, teachers and external agencies
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Is organised, reliable and confident managing detailed information
- Has strong attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping
- Communicates professionally with families, staff and external agencies
- Remains calm and methodical in a busy school environment
- Understands confidentiality, safeguarding and data protection
- Works well as part of a team and supports colleagues when needed
- Has experience in school administration or SEND processes (highly desirable)
Contract Details
- Location: Portsmouth
- Position: Annual Review Admin Officer
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Contract: Term time only + 1 week
- Start Date: September 2026 (or ASAP)
- Salary: £23,033 - £24,569 (pro rata)

- Enhanced child‑barred list DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Ability to provide professional references covering the last 24 months
