About the position
As a trainee Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer you will be placed with an experienced engineer and will build skills that can be applied to a future career in the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Industry.
This will be supported by undertaking a nationally recognised qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Engineering at a college to technician level (L3) as well as undertaking bespoke internal training in our own Training Academy and other external training courses.

Key responsibilities
- Learning / training - Installation, Service and Maintenance of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems.
- Develop skills, providing support and assistance to others in the engineering team.
- Actively engage in learning and participate in practical activities
- Observing health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Follow company processes.
- Provide a high standard of work.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes
- Proficiency in Mathematics, English and Science subjects.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work and support the team as well as independently.
- Good observation skills and a willingness to learn.
- A flexible positive attitude and great communication skills
- A ‘can-do’ mindset and a passion for doing the job right
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with installation, servicing and maintenance of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration systems
- Learning industry standards, tools and techniques
- Developing technical skills and building confidence on-the-job
- Studying for a fully recognised industry qualification
