ARB Architect, Part III

- Lead workplace and office fit-out projects across all RIBA Work Stages (0-7).
- Develop creative design solutions that respond to client briefs, budgets, and programme requirements.
- Produce high-quality design presentations, planning packages, technical drawings, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants including structural, MEP, and specialist designers.
- Manage planning applications, Building Regulations submissions, and statutory approvals.
- Attend client meetings, workshops, and presentations, building strong professional relationships.
- Coordinate contractor information during tender and construction stages.
- Undertake site inspections and contract administration duties where required.
- Monitor project programmes, fees, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor and support junior architectural staff.
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, health and safety legislation, CDM Regulations, and industry best practice.
- Contribute to business development activities and support bids and proposals where appropriate.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Qualified Architect (RIBA Part 3) and registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
- 3-7 years' post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience delivering workplace, commercial office, or office fit-out projects.
- Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge.
- Experience across all RIBA Work Stages.
- Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
