Site based, commutable from Preston, Blackburn, Chorley, Leyland, Garstang, Blackpool, Lancaster and surrounding areas.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a leading land-based college as a Trainee or Fully Qualified Lecturer in Arboriculture, with full training and support provided to help you gain your teaching qualification (if required). You'll use your hands-on industry experience to inspire learners, deliver key skills and knowledge, and support students to achieve recognised qualifications and progress into the industry.

In this role, you'll plan and deliver practical and theory lessons across Arboriculture programmes, support learners through tutorials and progress reviews, and ensure assessments are completed to a high standard. You'll also contribute to course planning and help strengthen links with employers to keep training aligned with industry needs.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Arboriculture and relevant industry tickets (NPTCs), with solid hands-on experience. No teaching experience is required, as full teacher training and qualifications will be provided.

The Role
Deliver classroom and practical Arboriculture lessons
Support learners through tutorials, targets and progression planning
Mark assessments and track progress using digital systems

The Person
Level 3 qualification in Arboriculture plus relevant industry tickets (NPTCs)
Strong industry experience within Arboriculture
Keen to move into teaching and support learner success
Based within a commutable distance of Preston
