Working Hours: 3 Shift Pattern (Days/Backs/Nights), moving to a 4 on, 4 off Continental Shift Pattern after training.
Commutable from: Edinburgh, Livingston, Dunfermline and surrounding areas.
First Achieve's Engineering Division are recruiting for an experienced Welder to join a global manufacturing leader.

Following an initial three-month training period on a rotating days/backs/nights shift pattern, you'll move onto a 4 on, 4 off continental shift pattern, increasing your salary to circa £46,000 - £48,000 per annum.
The Role
Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality welded components to exact engineering standards using a range of welding processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG, TIG and ARC welding on a variety of metal components and fabrications.
- Assemble and weld components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and customer standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
- Follow all health, safety and quality procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Welder within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience with MIG, TIG and ARC welding.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Welding qualifications or a relevant apprenticeship are essential
- Flexible approach to shift working.
