Overview of the Role

An Architect job is available in Embankment, London, working on high-end residential, conservation and heritage projects across the UK and internationally. The role will involve detailed design, technical drawing packages, research, site visits and supporting project delivery across all RIBA stages.



Practice & Project Information

This established practice specialises in classical and traditional architecture, with projects including private residences, heritage buildings, masterplanning and cultural schemes. The team combines technical expertise with a strong focus on traditional design, conservation and detailed architectural craftsmanship.



Key Responsibilities

  • Work on bespoke high-end conservation and heritage projects in the UK and internationally

  • Produce comprehensive working drawing packages and detailed hand drawings

  • Detail bespoke joinery and interior architectural elements

  • Assist with specifications, scheduling, project research and precedent studies

  • Attend client meetings, site visits and measured surveys

  • Support the Project Lead across all RIBA stages



Required Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Architect or Part II Architectural Assistant with at least 3 years' UK professional experience

  • Strong experience in traditional or classical residential architecture

  • Excellent technical, detailing and hand drawing skills

  • Experience in contract administration with sound technical knowledge

  • Strong interest in heritage, conservation and traditional design principles

  • Experience with historic building refurbishment advantageous; ArchiCAD beneficial
