Daily Duties

  • Acting as project runner and design team coordinator, generally focusing on a primary project.
  • Managing projects through all work stages, with particular responsibility for day-to-day project delivery.
  • Developing design concepts and leading technical design development.
  • Coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Managing client liaison and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Producing architectural drawings, specifications, reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Leading and contributing to design team meetings, including preparation of agendas, and recording meeting information.
  • Attending and running site meetings where required, maintaining accurate records of progress and discussions.
  • Supporting the preparation of project programmes and monitoring project progress.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members across design, detailing, administration, and project delivery tasks.
  • Producing and coordinating technical information using relevant software including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified Architect with current ARB registration.
  • RIBA Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 qualifications (or equivalent internationally recognised qualifications supported by a UK NARIC Statement of Comparability).
  • Experience working within a UK architectural practice environment.
  • Strong understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work, architectural processes, and professional responsibilities.
  • Experience managing projects and coordinating design teams through multiple work stages.
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing and supporting junior team members.
  • Strong technical design skills with experience developing projects from concept through to completion.
  • Proficient in architectural design software including Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • A proactive approach with a desire to contribute to the continued success and development of the practice.
