Job Title: Healthcare Lead (Architect OR Architectural Technician/ Technologist)

Location: Worcester | Bath | Birmingham | Nottingham | Leeds | London

Salary: £50-60,000 DOE

A well-established, design-led consultancy is seeking an experienced Healthcare Lead to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior healthcare specialist to take a strategic, client-facing role, leading the delivery and development of projects across primary, secondary, and acute care sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving quality, innovation, and growth, working closely with clients and internal teams. For those based in Bath, Nottingham, or Leeds, this also presents a fantastic opportunity to help establish and grow the healthcare architectural presence within these locations.

Daily Duties

  • Lead the design and delivery of healthcare projects across all RIBA stages
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and consultant teams
  • Manage project teams to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to high design standards
  • Drive and support business development activities, including winning new work
  • Oversee BIM/Revit coordination and project outputs
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior team members
  • Ensure all designs meet healthcare regulations and best practice standards

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Architect, Architectural Technologist, or Technician (ARB/ CIAT)
  • Minimum of 5-10 years' experience working exclusively within the healthcare sector
  • Strong background across primary, secondary, and acute care projects
  • Proven experience in a client-facing and leadership role
  • Proficiency in Revit/BIM is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness, with an interest or experience in business development
  • Flexible in location, with willingness to travel or contribute to regional growth
