Location: Exeter

Salary: £34-40,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction packages using Revit.
  • Develop and coordinate technical design information across all RIBA work stages.
  • Ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations, planning requirements, and relevant legislation.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders throughout project delivery.
  • Coordinate information across multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Produce specifications, schedules, and supporting technical documentation.
  • Attend client meetings and site visits as required.
  • Resolve technical and construction-related queries during project delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail across all work.


Candidate Requirements

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
  • Relevant UK architectural practice experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential.
  • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
  • Experience producing technical packages for planning and construction.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and work to project deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach with the confidence to work independently when required.
  • CIAT membership or aspirations towards chartership would be advantageous.
