Architectural Technologist (Building Safety)
Location: London / Hybrid
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Benefits
An established consultancy is seeking an Architectural Technologist with experience in Building Regulations Principal Design to join its growing Building Safety team.
This role would suit someone who enjoys the technical side of architecture and wants to focus on Building Safety and regulatory compliance while working on a diverse range of projects.
The Role
- Provide Building Regulations Principal Designer services.
- Review technical design information against Building Regulations requirements.
- Coordinate design compliance throughout project delivery.
- Work closely with architects, engineers and consultants.
- Support Gateway applications and Building Safety documentation.
- Attend client meetings and provide technical advice.
About You
- Degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology.
- Experience within Building Regulations Principal Design or Building Safety.
- Good understanding of the Building Safety Act.
- Strong technical detailing knowledge.
- Experience working across RIBA Stages.
- Confident communicator with good organisational skills.
