As an Area Sales Manager covering West Sussex and parts of East Sussex, you'll manage existing customer accounts, identify new business opportunities and build long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities

You'll take ownership of sales growth across your designated territory, promoting groundcare equipment and building strong relationships with customers.

• Promote groundcare machinery and leading brands across West Sussex and parts of East Sussex

• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers

• Generate new business through networking, prospecting and cold calling

• Identify upselling opportunities, negotiate deals and close sales

• Provide product advice and demonstrate equipment when required

• Deliver excellent customer service and develop long-term partnerships

• Plan customer visits effectively and maintain accurate sales administration

• Work towards sales targets and contribute to business growth

What we're looking for

You'll be a confident, commercially minded salesperson who understands the importance of product knowledge, customer service and building lasting relationships.

• Proven sales experience, ideally within groundcare, agricultural equipment, horticulture or machinery

• Strong industry knowledge and an understanding of equipment

• A track record of winning new business, developing accounts and achieving sales targets

• Confident communication, negotiation and influencing skills

• Good organisational skills and strong Microsoft Excel knowledge

• The ability to manage your own territory and plan customer visits

• A self-motivated, reliable and professional approach

• A full, valid UK driving licence
