Area Works Coordinator

As an Area Works Coordinator in London, you'll play a key role in organising and overseeing day-to-day facilities management activities within the not-for-profit sector. You'll ensure maintenance tasks are scheduled effectively, helping the team deliver services smoothly and efficiently.

Description

• Coordinate maintenance activities across assigned areas to ensure timely completion.
• Schedule and monitor work orders, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
• Liaise with contractors and internal teams to address any issues or delays.
• Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and ongoing projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all facilities management activities.
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests and allocate resources as needed.
• Support the team in achieving operational targets and service standards.
• Provide regular updates to management on work progress and challenges.

Profile

A successful Area Works Coordinator should have:

• Experience in a social housing organisation in an administrative capacity
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Confidence in communicating with contractors and internal teams.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using scheduling or maintenance software.

Job Offer

• Hourly rate of £15.00 to £16.00, dependent on the level of experience.
• Temporary role offering flexibility with potential to go perm for the right person
• Opportunity to work 2 days a week from home.
