Salary: £174 - £240 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Catholic secondary school in Derby that is looking to appoint an Art & Design Technology Teacher. The school provides a faith-based secondary education and is seeking a teacher who can contribute positively to the school environment and support students in their learning.

The school is looking to take on an Art & Design Technology Teacher on a full-time, long-term supply basis, starting ASAP. The successful Art & Design Technology Teacher will be responsible for teaching both Art and Design Technology across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, delivering engaging lessons while maintaining appropriate health and safety standards within practical Design Technology lessons.

The successful Art & Design Technology Teacher will have:

• QTS with a relevant Art and/or Design Technology specialism
• A Health & Safety Certificate for Design Technology teaching
• Experience teaching Art and Design Technology across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
