Art Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher to inspire and support students across Key Stages 4 and 5. The successful candidate will have a passion for Art and the ability to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that encourage students to develop their creativity, technical skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS4 and KS5, supporting students to achieve their full potential.

• Teach a range of artistic techniques, processes and creative practices while developing students’ portfolios and exam preparation.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.

• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, independence and experimentation.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider Art department and school community.

Requirements:

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.

• Experience teaching Art at KS4 and/or KS5 is preferred.

• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Art and creative education.

• Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of students.
