Art Teacher

Simply Education is working with a couple of secondary schools across Northamptonshire that are looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Art Teachers to lead and deliver lessons across a range of year groups.

The Role:

• Deliver practical and theory lessons on Art.
• Demonstrate tools and techniques including perspective, shading and value.
• Supervise safety and behaviour during practical sessions.
• Maintain equipment by inspecting tools and managing material stock.
• Prepare students for subject examinations like GCSEs and A-Levels.

We're looking for:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• QTS/PGCE qualified.
• Enthusiasm, friendliness and approachability.
• Understanding of the secondary aged art curriculum and pastoral needs.
• Ability in delivering lessons and feedback.
• Confidence in behaviour management skills.
• Flexibility, independence and an ability to work effectively.
