I am working with a Secondary School in the London Borough of Bexley who are looking to recruit for the following role.

Job Title: Teacher of Art
Location: Bexley, South East London
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Permanent | Part-Time (0.2 – 0.4 FTE)
Salary: MPS/UPS (£37,928 – £56,217 pro rata)

About the Role:
A high-performing and ambitious secondary school in the Bexley area is seeking to appoint a talented and creative Teacher of Art to join their successful department from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Art specialist to inspire students across KS3 & KS4, delivering engaging and innovative lessons across a range of disciplines including painting, sculpture, photography, and multimedia.

You will join a forward-thinking department committed to creativity, collaboration, and delivering excellent outcomes for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Art lessons across KS3 & KS4
  • Inspire and motivate students to exceed expectations
  • Contribute to the development of a broad and engaging Art curriculum
  • Support extracurricular activities, including clubs, trips, and exhibitions
  • Use data effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment
  • Contribute to a creative and inspiring learning environment
