You’ll act as the service’s ASB lead, managing a varied and often challenging caseload. You’ll be responsible for progressing investigations, coordinating multi-agency responses and ensuring victims receive timely, supportive communication throughout.
Your work will include:
· Leading ASB and tenancy breach investigations from initial referral to closure
· Completing risk assessments and prioritising cases based on vulnerability and harm
· Conducting victim, witness and perpetrator interviews and developing action plans
· Maintaining detailed, accurate case records using case management systems
· Gathering, assessing and evaluating evidence to inform interventions and enforcement
· Liaising with tenants, complainants, alleged perpetrators and partner agencies
· Providing expert advice on ASB legislation, enforcement tools and evidential requirements
· Coordinating multi-agency responses to complex cases involving safeguarding, domestic abuse, substance misuse, criminality or repeat victimisation
· Preparing case files, witness statements, court documentation and supporting legal proceedings
· Ensuring victims receive regular updates in line with service standards
· Producing case summaries, chronologies, reports and performance information
About You
You’ll bring significant experience in ASB, community safety, housing enforcement or tenancy management, along with the confidence to manage complex cases independently and at pace.
Essential skills include:
· Strong background in ASB casework, investigations and enforcement
· Experience gathering evidence and progressing enforcement action
· Excellent case management, organisation and record-keeping
· Ability to manage multiple complex cases and meet tight deadlines
· A victim-centred, customer-focused approach
· Knowledge of ASB legislation, including the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014
· Experience working with Police, safeguarding teams and other statutory partners
· Excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing
· Confident use of Microsoft Office and case management systems
Desirable experience:
· Preparing court files and attending court
· Multi-agency risk management and safeguarding work
· Knowledge of landlord/tenant law and housing management
· Experience with CPNs, CPWs, Injunctions and Closure Orders
