Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Asbestos Analyst to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for an Asbestos Analyst who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Asbestos Analyst, will be responsible for:
- Ensure all asbestos‑related work is carried out in accordance with GPD 4 (‘Air Sampling, Fibre Counting, 4SC and Certificate for Reoccupation procedures'), General Quality Procedures, and current asbestos regulations
- Provide quality services and technical information to clients, compile recommendations, review reports, and ensure all reporting is completed to required standards and timescales
- Participate in audits, attend meetings and training, arrange client/contractor meetings, and report any occurrences requiring insurer or legal notification
- Provide technical advice, prepare health and safety risk assessments, and support compliance of staff under your control
- Support business objectives by undertaking additional duties, maintaining professional standards, and demonstrating experience within the asbestos field
To be successful for this Asbestos Analyst role you must have:
- The BOHS P403 and BOHS P404
- The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) Level 3 Certificate for Asbestos Air Monitoring Analysts
- The BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos
- Full UK driving licence is required
