Asbestos Project Manager

Job Description

• Manage and deliver asbestos remedial programmes across a residential housing portfolio
• Plan, scope and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance, quality and budget targets are met
• Audit completed works to ensure compliance with asbestos regulations, health & safety and quality standards
• Carry out compliance survey audits and maintain accurate records
• Manage customer queries and complaints, providing a high standard of service
• Identify and report project risks, issues and lessons learned
• Work closely with internal teams and contractors to deliver projects efficiently

Requirements

• BOHS P402 or P403 & P404 (or equivalent)
• Experience in asbestos management within housing, construction, consultancy or contractor environments
• Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation, CDM regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience managing contractors and delivering projects
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Full UK driving licence
