Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their growing team in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos services across the Midlands. THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys across a wide range of client sites throughout Birmingham and the surrounding region.

Working independently and with the support of an experienced operations team, you will deliver high-quality surveying services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
* Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of property types
* Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
* Working across commercial, industrial, domestic, and public sector properties
* Managing your own workload and daily schedule efficiently
* Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
* Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance



WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* BOHS P402 qualification (essential)
* Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy
* Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
* Full UK driving licence
* Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
* Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
