Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team in Waltham Cross.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos surveying services across London, Hertfordshire, and the surrounding regions. THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys across a diverse portfolio of client sites throughout London and the Home Counties.

Working independently with the support of an experienced operations team, the Asbestos Surveyor will ensure all work is completed to the highest standard while maintaining compliance with HSG264, current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264

  • Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector properties

  • Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports

  • Managing your own diary and workload efficiently

  • Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams

  • Maintaining accurate electronic records and survey documentation

  • Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance



WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • BOHS P402 qualification (essential)

  • Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor

  • Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation

  • Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills

  • Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
