Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team covering Glasgow and the wider Central Belt of Scotland.

The business has a consistent commercial workload and operates with clear processes, realistic scheduling, and strong operational support. What You'll Be Joining

You'll be joining an established asbestos consultancy with a strong pipeline of work across Scotland. The company places an emphasis on quality, realistic workloads, and providing its field-based teams with the operational support required to deliver work to a high standard.

For an experienced Asbestos Surveyor, this offers the opportunity to work independently while benefiting from structured scheduling and an established management team.

The Role

  • Delivering Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264

  • Working across commercial, industrial, and public sector properties

  • Conducting bulk asbestos sampling where required

  • Producing clear, accurate, and compliant asbestos survey reports

  • Managing your own diary and workload effectively

  • Travelling across Glasgow and the wider Central Belt

  • Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site representatives

  • Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance



About You

  • BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent)

  • Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor

  • Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation

  • Previous commercial surveying experience is desirable

  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based position

  • Strong communication and report-writing skills

  • Professional, organised, and reliable

  • Full UK driving licence
