Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading environmental services provider in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team covering Guildford and the surrounding South East region.

What You'll Be Joining

For an experienced Asbestos Surveyor, this is an opportunity to benefit from a competitive basic salary while increasing overall earnings to around £46,000 with overtime.

The Role

  • Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264

  • Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a range of property types

  • Producing clear, accurate, and compliant asbestos survey reports

  • Working across a varied portfolio of commercial and public sector properties

  • Managing your own diary and field-based workload effectively

  • Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site representatives

  • Maintaining accurate electronic records and survey documentation

  • Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance



About You

  • BOHS P402 qualification (essential)

  • Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor

  • Strong knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation

  • Experience surveying a range of commercial and public sector properties

  • Confident working independently in a field-based position

  • Strong communication and report-writing skills

  • Professional, organised, and reliable

  • Full UK driving licence
