Randstad is proud to partner with a leading specialist consultancy in environmental management and asbestos compliance. On behalf of a leading compliance consultancy, we are currently recruiting an experienced, self-motivated Asbestos Surveyor to deliver an essential housing survey programme on behalf of a local council.
This contract primarily covers Full Management surveys alongside targeted refurbishment surveys across domestic social housing stock.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out several surveys on domestic social housing stock:
Full Management (FM) / Re-inspection surveys (approx. 5 per day)
Targeted Refurbishment surveys (approx. 6-7 per day)
Accurately log, record, and upload survey data directly using your own tablet.
Execute bulk sampling safely in compliance with HSG264 guidelines.
Follow structured onboarding plan and council access protocols.
Maintain excellent client-facing standards when dealing with local council tenants.
Requirements & Qualifications
BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) certification is essential.
Proven track record conducting domestic asbestos surveys (social housing experience preferred).
Own Vehicle & Valid Clean Driving License (required for travel between sites).
Own Tablet Device (capable of running surveying software).
High attention to detail, reliability, and strong time-management skills.
