Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional needs?

A Secondary SEN School in Oxford is seeking a dedicated and caring ASD Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, or Teachers.

As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group support tailored to students with ASD and SEN.
• Support students with communication, emotional regulation, confidence, independence, and engagement in learning.
• Help create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support individual learning and development.
• Observe and monitor students' progress, wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement throughout the school day.

We're looking for an ASD Teaching Assistant who is:

• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people with ASD.
• A confident communicator with a genuine passion for working within SEN.
• Interested in gaining practical experience before pursuing a career in psychology, therapy, or education.
• Able to build strong, positive relationships with both students and colleagues.

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay: £93-£110 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
• Contract: Full-time
