ASD Teacher - SEN School

Remedy Education are looking for an experienced and dedicated ASD Teacher to join a specialist SEN school based in Romford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who has strong experience supporting pupils with autism and additional needs. The school are looking for someone nurturing, structured and confident in adapting lessons to support communication, engagement, emotional regulation and progress.

Position: ASD Teacher
Location: Romford
Pay: £200-£250 per day
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP / September roles available

The Role:

As an ASD Teacher, you will:

* Teach pupils with autism and a range of additional needs
* Plan and deliver structured, engaging and differentiated lessons
* Support communication, routines, transitions and emotional regulation
* Create a calm, safe and predictable learning environment
* Use visual supports, sensory strategies and adapted resources where needed
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs and therapy teams
* Contribute to EHCP targets and individual learning plans
* Encourage confidence, independence and positive engagement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Qualified Teacher Status or strong relevant teaching experience
* Previous experience teaching pupils with ASD
* Strong SEN experience within a school setting
* A calm, patient and resilient approach
* Confidence managing behaviour and supporting communication needs
* Good understanding of structured teaching and sensory needs
* A genuine passion for helping pupils with autism make progress
