Are you a skilled mechanical builder looking for a long-term workshop position?
We are recruiting for a dedicated Mechanical Fitter / Assembler to join a premier engineering company near Tewkesbury. This workshop-based role focuses entirely on hands-on mechanical fabrication and precision assembly. 

Key Mechanical Responsibilities

• Precision Assembly: Build, fit, and assemble complex mechanical components from engineering drawings.
• Tool Proficiency: Utilize a wide range of mechanical hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Fabrication & Fitting: Align parts, drill, tap, and fabricate elements to ensure perfect mechanical alignment.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect finished builds to guarantee high-quality structural and mechanical integrity. 

Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, or manufacturing.
• Strong ability to work independently with basic hand and power tools.
• Solid understanding of mechanical components and assembly sequences.
• Reliable work ethic suited for a busy production environment.
