Hours: Monday to Friday 06:00 am - 2:00 pm
Pay: £12.71 an hour

About the Production Operative role:
This role involves assembling components and products with precision and attention to detail, contributing to the efficient production of high-quality goods. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with electrical systems, and experience using various hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Operative:
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Operate machines to facilitate automated assembly processes
- Winding copper wire into coils and onto looms
- Conduct assembly of circuit boards and coil winding with accuracy and care
- Perform routine inspections of assembled products to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions precisely
- Assist in troubleshooting assembly issues by applying electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation to uphold safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets efficiently
- Proven experience in assembly operations, ideally within electronics or mechanical manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and assembly techniques
- Basic electrical experience and understanding of electrical components and circuitry
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Good attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and quality assurance
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good manual dexterity and the physical ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Soldering or assembly experience (preferable)
- Able to keep accurate records and work to targets
