We are looking for a Assembler to work in a busy manufacturing environment at our Basildon site
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 7.30am – 16.00pm
- Friday: 7.30am – 12.30pm

Purpose of role and key accountabilities:
To carry out assembly of aircraft components to customer defined specification and standard.
Core skills/attributes needed:
- Ability to work on assembly of new parts with solid rivets using hand & air riveting tools & other equipment for the purpose required.
- Visual inspection of completed products
- Full knowledge and experience of using Vernier’s and other specialist measuring tools • Experience of working to adjust sheet metal parts for assembly
- Current experience of the use of air tools i.e. drills / rivet press / rivet guns
- Experience of using sealants
- Engineering background ideally in aerospace industry
- Experience of reading, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience of working with a number of different materials and finishes
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Utilising a range of hand tools
- Finish precision engineering products
