Assembly Operative
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
Contract: 12-week temp-to-perm
Location: On-site

We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative on behalf of our well-established client, a leading UK manufacturer specialising in sheet metal fabrication and stainless steel product design.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components accurately and efficiently to the required specifications
- Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow detailed work instructions, production processes, and quality standards
- Carry out basic quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Pack finished products and prepare them for dispatch
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production environment is preferred
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- The ability to follow instructions and work to set procedures
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- A reliable and hardworking approach to work
