Assembly Operator

Location: Worcestershire
Salary: £12.72–£13.48 per hour DOE
Hours: 39 hours per week, days with a 1pm Friday finish
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

An established engineering manufacturer is seeking an Assembly Operator to join its busy production team.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, engineering, quality inspection or a similar environment. You’ll work with components and products to high standards, using basic technical drawings and small hand tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, mask, seal and finish components to required standards
• Read and follow basic technical and engineering drawings
• Use small hand tools and production equipment safely
• Check work for quality, accuracy and finish
• Work to production deadlines and maintain high standards
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment

About You

• Previous experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, engineering, quality or a similar hands-on environment
• Able to read and understand basic technical or engineering drawings
• Comfortable using small hand tools
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Reliable, proactive and willing to learn
• Good verbal and written communication skills
