Assembly Operative

Market 36 Recruitment are currently for a Wire Operative on behalf of our client based in Bishops Stortford on a temporary or temp-to-perm basis.

Main purpose of the role is to manufacture of wiring looms, harnesses and sub assembly items required to support the assembly and supply of capital equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manufacture of complete wiring looms
• Small wiring cable forms
• Population and wiring of electrical and control cabinets
• Circuit wiring for tank transducers
• Ensure all operations are complete and done correctly.
• Any other duties as required.

Experience, education & qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience with wiring installations
• Attention to detail.
• Electrical Cabinet and wiring loom experience is advantageous
• Have the ability to communicate on all levels.
• Previous soldering or crimping experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20kg required.
• Confident using Word and Excel to a component level.

Salary: £13.30 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:00
