Assembly Technician

Location: Edenbridge, Kent

Salary: £27,000 per annum + Bonus & Benefits

Permanent, Full Time, Day Shifts

Our client, a growing manufacturing business, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys assembly work, working with their hands and producing high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Working within a skilled production team, you will help assemble, test and quality-check a range of products, including some electronic components. The role offers a mix of repetitive and bespoke work, ensuring plenty of variety throughout your day.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out light electronic assembly work
• Programming electronic components
• Using hand tools and assembly equipment
• Completing basic soldering and wiring tasks
• Reading and following assembly instructions
• Inspecting and quality checking finished products
• Maintaining accurate production records
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring products meet company quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Experience within production, assembly or manufacturing environments
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to work accurately and consistently
• Good eyesight for detailed assembly work
• Experience using a soldering iron would be advantageous
• Willingness to learn new assembly and electronic manufacturing skills
• Positive attitude and reliable approach to work
