Salary: £26,278 a year (£21,636.22 pro-rata) + benefits

The Role
Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of Early Years Educators?
As an Early Years (T-Levels) Assessor/Trainer, you will be the key link between our learners and local education providers. You’ll work hands-on with students in real-world settings, supporting them to achieve their full potential while building strong, long-lasting partnerships with local employers to expand placement opportunities across the community.
In this dynamic role, you will travel to employer settings to assess learner competency, track individual progress, and provide the constructive guidance needed to help every learner complete their qualification on time and with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Guide & Support Learners: Assess competency and knowledge across a diverse portfolio Predominately on T-Levels, helping them thrive in their roles.
Build Employer Partnerships: Cultivate meaningful relationships with placement providers to secure and expand high-quality opportunities for our students.
Drive Success: Conduct regular progress reviews and manage learner portfolios to ensure timely qualification completions in line with organisational goals.
Assess in Context: Conduct engaging, on-site visits within local early years settings to observe, mentor, and evaluate practical skills.
What You’ll Bring
- Industry Experience: Hands-on experience working within an Early Years setting as a qualified Early Years Educator.
- Strong Tech & Organisational Skills: Highly organized with a customer-focused mindset, comfortable using a variety of IT platforms and e-portfolio systems.
- Assessment Expertise: Solid understanding of the assessment process. An Assessor Award. Ideally V-Award (Verifiers) or willingness to work towards
- Core Qualifications: Level 3 (or above) in Early Years/Education, plus Level 2 (GCSE A*–C / 4–9 or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Reporting directly to the Curriculum Manager, you will be an integral part of our vibrant education team. You’ll work side-by-side with Curriculum Team Leaders, Lecturers, and wider college support teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality learning journey for every student.
