Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking an Asset Data Assurance Manager (CAFM Specialist) to act as the recognised authority for CAFM/CMMS platforms, API integration, and asset data governance.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading the development, governance, and assurance of asset data frameworks across CAFM/EAM platforms. The successful candidate will ensure that all asset data and system integrations are structured, controlled, and maintained to the highest standards of accuracy, traceability, and compliance.

Working closely with technical, operational, and vendor stakeholders, the role supports reliable operational performance, proactive risk mitigation, and informed lifecycle decision-making. The position aligns data governance practices to ISO 55001 and enterprise standards, enabling consistent and audit-ready asset management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support asset data governance forums to ensure effective control, compliance, and audit-ready decision-making
  • Develop and maintain CAFM data governance frameworks, ensuring all data changes are controlled, approved, version managed, and auditable
  • Embed governance controls across CAFM/EAM platforms, including change control, approval workflows, and data ownership accountability
  • Assure API integrations and system interfaces, validating and monitoring data exchanges for integrity, accuracy, and completeness
  • Oversee data flow validation and error handling processes, including exception management and resolution protocols
  • Define and manage data dependencies and system relationships across asset hierarchies, classification structures (e.g. Uniclass), and PPM regimes (e.g. SFG20)
  • Lead reconciliation processes and root cause analysis of data inconsistencies, implementing preventative actions
  • Maintain full audit traceability across governance, integrations, and reconciliation activities while aligning data standards with stakeholders

Person Specification

  • Strong expertise in CAFM asset data management with exceptional attention to detail
  • Extensive experience with CAFM/CMMS platforms, including system configuration and API integrations
  • Proven experience developing and implementing asset data governance frameworks aligned to ISO 55001
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex data quality and system integration issues
  • Strong understanding of data flow assurance, validation, and control processes
  • Experience managing classification structures and planned maintenance regimes (e.g. Uniclass, SFG20)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
