Asset Management Data Officer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Asset Data Officer to support the effective management of asset management and property compliance data workig on a contract basis, this role will largely be working from home with the requirement to go to the office for meetings on occasions and is working on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date property and asset information, ensuring data is reliable and available to support compliance, investment planning and operational decision-making.
- Maintain and update asset management, property and compliance data across a range of systems.
- Input, validate and quality-check property and asset information to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Manage data relating to statutory compliance, including areas such as fire safety, gas, electrical, asbestos, lifts and other property compliance requirements.
- Use various asset management and property databases/packages to maintain and interrogate information.
- Analyse and manipulate large datasets using Microsoft Excel.
- Produce reports, schedules and data analysis to support asset management and compliance teams.
- Identify data discrepancies, gaps and anomalies and undertake investigations to resolve them.
- Assist with data cleansing, validation and improvement projects.
- Support the production of management information and performance reports.
- Work closely with surveyors, compliance teams, contractors and other internal stakeholders to ensure asset information remains accurate.
- Maintain appropriate audit trails and ensure data is managed in line with organisational procedures.
Candidates should ideally have the following-
- Experience working with asset management, property or housing databases.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, filtering, sorting and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data management.
- Experience of data validation, cleansing and quality assurance.
- An understanding of housing asset management and property compliance data.
- The ability to analyse information and identify discrepancies or trends.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to learn and use different software packages quickly.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with property and compliance professionals.
