Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

ISS, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, are looking for an experienced Asset Surveyor, or a Mobile Engineer looking to move into surveying, to join our growing team on an exciting asset management project. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in collecting, validating and maintaining high-quality asset data that supports effective maintenance planning and long-term asset management.

Job Description

We are seeking a technically minded professional with a strong understanding of building services and building fabric assets. Working across sites throughout England, you will undertake detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) and Fabric asset surveys, ensuring all asset information is accurately captured and aligned to recognised industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed MEP and Fabric asset surveys using approved digital data capture tools.
  • Capture, verify and classify asset data in line with Uniclass 2015 standards.
  • Verify asset specifications, operational status, accessibility and completeness.
  • Identify missing, duplicated, obsolete, incorrectly coded or end-of-life assets.
  • Record accurate condition, age and performance data to support lifecycle planning.
  • Maintain full asset traceability through photographic evidence, tagging and location referencing.
  • Investigate and resolve data anomalies through approved governance processes.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety requirements and relevant asset management standards.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Experience as an Asset Surveyor or a Mobile Engineer seeking to transition into surveying.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution systems, lighting systems and life safety systems.
  • Understanding of building fabric components and interfaces.
  • Awareness of Uniclass 2015, ISO 19650 Information
  • Management and ISO 55001 Asset Management principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience using mobile surveying software and digital data capture tools.
  • M&E or Fabric background preferred, with flexibility on formal qualifications.
  • Full UK driving licence.
