Assistant Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is managing an exciting opportunity, based in Petersfield.  An Assistant Accountant vacancy has become available to join a thriving manufacturing organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fabulous, career enhancing position and would suit a graduate, who has some work experience and strong Excel skills, including V Look ups and Pivot Tables.

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Analysing financial data and investigating variances to support operational decision-making
  
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes to contribute to strategic financial planning
  
• Liaising with staff across departments to resolve price and cost queries
  
• Producing accurate financial reports and identifying opportunities for process improvements
  
• Supporting ad hoc financial analysis and administrative duties as required
  

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Some relevant accounts or financial analysis experience.
  
• Demonstrating proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and familiarity with accounts systems.
  
• Displaying strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  
• Being proactive, adaptable, and able to communicate effectively across teams
