We are searching for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join a growing finance team based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for finance graduates or those studying AAT to further develop their skills and progress their careers within finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and performance analysis
- Support budget and forecast processes across operational departments
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Partner with operational teams to improve financial understanding and reporting
- Contribute to month-end and year-end accounting activities
About You
- University graduate of a relevant degree or actively studying towards a professional qualification such as AAT
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
- Able to thrive in a fast-moving environment
