Assistant Accountant | Morley | £36,000 | 12 Month FTC

Location: Morley, with potential for hybrid working
Salary: Up to £36,000
Contract: 12 month fixed term contract

I’m working with a really nice and inclusive business in Morley who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a broad role within the finance team, with a particular focus on gross margin, cashflow and month end reporting.

The role will include:

• Updating cashflow and gross margin reporting
• Preparing order reports and supporting with forecasting
• Completing month end journals and accruals
• Managing and monitoring credit card spend
• Updating Power BI dashboards and Excel spreadsheets
• Supporting with year end audit
• Providing financial information and analysis for ad hoc requests
• Working with NetSuite
• Supporting the wider finance team where required

You don’t need previous Power BI experience, but you should be confident using Excel and comfortable working with financial data and reporting.

Manufacturing experience would be useful, particularly exposure to standard costing, but this isn’t essential as the business is open to candidates from different industry backgrounds.
