Assistant Accountant (Part Qualified)

Anderson Knight is delighted to announce that they are seeking a talented and ambitious Assistant Accountant to join a well-established company in the FMCG industry in their finance division based in the outskirts of Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to a dynamic and fast past environment where you will face new challenges and gain important experience. 

Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Monthly Management Accounts
•    Annual Statutory Accounts 
•    Fixed Asset Management/Maintenance
•    VAT Returns
•    Month end close processes
•    Budgeting and Forecasting
•    Balance Sheet reconciliations
•    Providing support to the finance team where required
•    Breakdown and analysis of financial data
•    
Skills of the ideal candidate:
•    Actively studying toward completing ACCA/CIMA
•    Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role
•    Exposure to monthly management accounts
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
•    Excellent eye for detail and analytical skills
•    Strong ability to work as part of a team

In exchange our client offers excellent hands-on practical experience, a strong team focused working environment and an opportunity to progress. Our client will also provide full study support towards your ACCA or CIMA in order to transition to a fully qualified accountant. 

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home with onsite parking.
