Assistant Asset Manager - Solar

The Energy Division at ARM is currently recruiting for an Asset Manager Assistant / Operations & Management Graduate to join an established and growing renewable energy business based in Wadebridge, Cornwall.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration, organisation and coordination skills who is looking to develop a career within the renewable energy and asset management sector.
The Role
You will support the asset management and operational teams in managing a portfolio of solar PV and wind energy assets, coordinating maintenance activities, contractors, site requirements and operational records.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
- Liaising with O&M providers, HV contractors, DNOs and site contractors.
- Managing client, supplier and customer queries.
- Maintaining accurate asset registers, site information and maintenance records.
- Monitoring renewable energy sites on a rota basis, including weekend cover.
- Providing Operational Controller cover as part of a weekly rota.
- Coordinating wind turbine site inspections, including personnel and route planning.
- Managing materials, site team briefs, budgets and invoices.
- Supporting the management of remedial maintenance projects.
- Tracking and managing open O&M tickets to ensure accurate visibility of outstanding works.
- Recording and analysing generation figures and operational faults.
- Supporting the project management of site maintenance, including materials, subcontractors and H&S requirements.
About You
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and confident dealing with a variety of stakeholders.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in asset management, operations, administration or coordination.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and multitask.
- The confidence to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team.
- Strong IT literacy and Microsoft Office skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to use your own initiative.
A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
Previous experience within renewable energy, solar PV, wind, engineering, maintenance or O&M would be beneficial, but is not essential.
