Assistant Client Accountant. OUR CLIENT are an established, national property management firm who are rapidly expanding. They are looking to appoint an Assistant Client Accountant

to join their property accounting team.

THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ASSISTANT CLIENT ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

  • Performing high volume bank reconciliations.
  • Managing the day-to-day allocation and posting of incoming payments.
  • Creating and maintaining tenant and tenancy-related financial records, ensuring information remains current and accurate.
  • Calculating and applying relevant charges in accordance with contractual and tenancy requirements.
  • Providing hands-on support across the month-end close.

THE PERSON REQUIREMENTS OF THE ASSISTANT CLIENT ACCOUNTANT:

  • Proven experience using a property management system such as QUBE, YARDI, TRAMPS or similar.
  • Strong Excel capability and confidence working with financial data.
  • Practical experience with cash allocation and bank reconciliation.
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to work autonomously while contributing. positively to a wider team.
  • Previous experience within housing, property or real estate would be a distinct advantage.
