An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Ecologist to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy delivering environmental and engineering solutions across a diverse range of development, infrastructure and construction projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Ecologist to develop their consultancy experience, working alongside experienced environmental professionals and gaining exposure to a broad range of ecological projects.

The role:
As an Assistant Ecologist, you will support the delivery of ecological projects from initial surveys through to reporting. Responsibilities will include protected species surveys, habitat inspections, ecological reporting, environmental assessments and providing technical support to project teams.
To be considered:
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, Biology or a related discipline
- Previous ecology or environmental consultancy experience is desirable
- Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and ecological best practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Living in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the Basingstoke office
