The Role As the Assistant Electrical Technical Manager, you’ll:
- Plan and undertake LV electrical inspection and testing.
- Complete EICRs, Minor Works Certificates and Electrical Installation Certificates.
- Maintain compliance and certification records through CAFM systems.
- Support the management of LV and HV electrical distribution systems.
- Diagnose complex electrical faults and provide technical support.
- Manage specialist contractors, including reviewing RAMS and issuing permits to work.
- Assist with electrical compliance, lifecycle plans and technical projects.
- Participate in the on-call rota, currently 1 week in 4.
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Strong electrical installation, inspection and testing experience.
- Experience completing EICRs and electrical certification.
- Good knowledge of LV electrical distribution and switchgear.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- A good understanding of electrical compliance and Health & Safety.
