Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Our well-established Telford client has an Assistant Management Accountant vacancy on a permanent basis. This is a varied role reporting to the Finance Director

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting month-end and quarter-end financial reporting
• Monitoring costs and analysing budget variances
• Identifying and escalating financial concerns to the Finance Director
• Liaising with auditors, professional advisers and banking contacts
• Ensuring monthly payroll is processed accurately and on time
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business
• Preparing and presenting financial performance information
• Managing supplier payment runs in line with internal controls
• Promoting compliance with financial controls and procedures
• Supporting the development of colleagues within the Finance team

Skills and Experience

Entry level accounting qualifications are accepted; they are happy to support development. Experience in a similar role is essential.
