As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the store, supporting the Store Manager in delivering commercial results and creating a positive environment for customers and colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs
- Leading, coaching and motivating the team to maximise performance
- Delivering excellent customer service and an engaging shopping experience
- Driving sales through effective team leadership and commercial awareness
- Maintaining high visual merchandising and store presentation standards
- Supporting stock management, deliveries and replenishment
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and training
- Taking responsibility for store operations in the Store Manager's absence
- Ensuring operational procedures and company standards are consistently maintained
To be successful in this Assistant Manager role, you will have:
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader
- Experience in fashion, lifestyle, footwear, accessories, beauty or premium retail
- A track record of achieving sales targets and delivering KPI results
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop a team
- A commercial mindset and a passion for driving sales
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach and a genuine passion for customer service
