Assistant MEP Quantity Surveyor – London

A leading international construction contractor is expanding its commercial team in London and is looking to appoint an Assistant MEP Quantity Surveyor to support a growing pipeline of major projects.

The business delivers complex commercial, workplace, hospitality and specialist projects across London, with schemes ranging from major fit-outs through to large-scale developments valued in the tens and hundreds of millions.

This is a strong opportunity for an Assistant MEP QS looking to gain exposure to larger, more technically complex projects and develop within an established MEP commercial team.

The Role

Working alongside experienced MEP Quantity Surveyors and the wider project team, you'll support the commercial management of MEP packages from procurement through to final account.

You'll be involved in:

• Supporting the commercial management of MEP subcontract packages
• Assisting with procurement, tender analysis and subcontractor appointments
• Reviewing valuations, applications for payment and variations
• Assisting with cost reporting, forecasting and budget control
• Managing and tracking variations and change
• Reviewing subcontractor accounts and supporting final accounts
• Working with the technical and project teams to understand design development and commercial impact
• Assisting with the preparation and review of commercial reports
• Building strong relationships with MEP subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team

The Opportunity

The upcoming pipeline includes major projects across Central London and other key London locations, covering high-value commercial, workplace, hospitality and specialist environments.

You'll be working alongside experienced MEP commercial professionals, gaining exposure to significant packages and complex procurement environments while developing towards a full MEP QS position.

The role would suit an Assistant MEP QS with main contractor, specialist subcontractor or consultancy experience who is looking to step into a more challenging project environment.
