This administration-focused role involves maintaining SEND records, tracking support plans and interventions, and preparing Education, Health and Care Plan reviews. - Sound understanding of SEND provision and Key Stage 3 pupils needs.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and handling sensitive information confidentially.
- Strong written communication and confidence using digital systems.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain SEND records, support plans and documentation for Key Stage 3 pupils.
- Track interventions, provision and progress, highlighting gaps or changes to the SENCO.
- Help organise Education, Health and Care Plan reviews, meetings, referrals and follow-up actions.
- Gather teacher feedback and evidence of the impact of SEND support.
- Communicate with parents, carers and external professionals while maintaining confidentiality.
- Help develop consistent SEND processes across year groups.
What the School Offers
- Opportunities to contribute to inclusion across Key Stage 3.
- Close collaboration with the SENCO and insight into wider provision planning.
- Scope to develop SEND leadership skills.
- Varied work combining purposeful administration, professional communication and pupil-focused outcomes.
